This notice may be cited as the Masterton Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Masterton Milk Delivery Notice 1946† (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

Clause (7) of the principal notice is hereby amended by revoking the words “A. C. Yorke, Railway Road, Solway,” in relation to Zone No. 9, and substituting the words “Mrs. G. M. Parsons, Railway Road, Solway.”

This notice may be cited as the Hamilton Milk Delivery Notice 1946, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Hamilton Milk Delivery Notice 1946† (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

Clause (7) of the principal notice is hereby amended as follows:—
(a) By revoking the words “D. P. Cooney, 71 Ulster Street, Hamilton,” in relation to Zone 11, and substituting the words “Gamble and Laing, Von Tempsky Street, Hamilton.”

PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

This notice may be cited as the Whangarei Milk Delivery Scheme 1942, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Whangarei Milk Delivery Scheme 1942† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).

Clause (6) of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “C. R. Hilton, Maunu Road, Whangarei,” in relation to Zone No. 6, and substituting the words “Mrs. V. D. Hilton, Maunu Road, Whangarei.”

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades
Office of Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 31st July, 1946.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial and Commercial Grades are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. per loose bushel.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st August to 31st August, 1946:—
Loose packed fresh lemons, Preferred Commercial Grade s. d.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 15 (7) of the Meat Act, 1939, that—
(a) By deed of agreement of date the 19th day of February, 1946, made between the Rotorua Borough Council and the Rotorua County Council, the abattoir established for the Borough of Rotorua has been made available for those parts of the County of Rotorua set forth in the Schedule hereto;
(b) The Rotorua Abattoir District, as affected by the said agreement, shall comprise all that area described in the said Schedule; and
(c) The Rotorua Borough Council shall be the controlling authority of the abattoir for the purposes of the abattoir district described in the said Schedule.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROTORUA ABATTOIR DISTRICT
ALL that area for the time being comprised in the Borough of Rotorua, and also all those parts of the County of Rotorua comprising Blocks XII, XV, and XVI of the Rotorua Survey District, Blocks III, IV, and VIII of the Horohoro Survey District, Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Tarawera Survey District, and Blocks XIII and XIV of the Rotoiti Survey District.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 10th day of July, 1946, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 1st day of November, 1946, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement eighteen (18) acres twenty-seven decimal five (27·5) perches, being all the land on Deposited Plan 6934, being portion of Section 4, Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 214, folio 39 (Auckland Registry).
