PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946,
notice is hereby given that the following persons, namely--

Edwin Malcolm Brown,
Dudley William Win, and
James Burridge Milligan
are duly appointed to be the first members of the Murchison Bobby
Calf Pool Committee established under the said regulations.

Defining Lands in Wairangi Farm Settlement, North Auckland
Land District, to which Water is supplied pursuant to Section 8
of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1939
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by subsection (5) of section 8 of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1939, I, Clarence Farrington Skinner, Minister of
Lands, hereby give notice that the lands defined in the Schedule
hereto are lands to which water is supplied under the said section.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Whangarei County, situated in Block XIV,
Purua Survey District, containing by admeasurement 173 acres
2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Allotments 170, 171, 172,
and 173, Parish of Maungatapere. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 36/1444/6l, deposited
in the Head Office, Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.
As witness my hand at Wellington, this 7th day of June, 1946.

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.-Notice
declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged
Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of
the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the
land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the
Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the appli-
cation has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the
application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the
settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the
Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of
the land, did on the 1st day of May, 1946, make an order determining
the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was
made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further
time allowed by the Court :
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman
who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of
His Majesty's Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance
of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land
is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby
specifies the 1st day of July, 1946, as the date on which the said
land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.

SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District,
containing by admeasurement one hundred and six (106) acres
two (2) roods thirty-seven (37) perches, more or less, being part of
McCaskill's Grant, and being the whole of the land described in
certificate of title, Vol. 569, folio 257 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that area containing by admeasurement twenty-two
(22) acres two (2) roods, more or less, being Section 14, Block V,
Ohinemuri Survey District, and being the whole of the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. 833, folio 153 (Auckland Registry).
As witness my hand, this 4th day of June, 1946.

rood thirty-six (36) perches, being parts Sections 482 and 494,
Grey District, Block IX, Paritutu Survey District, and being all
of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 51, folio 153 (Taranaki Registry),
and all that area of fifty-six (56) acres three (3) roods, being parts
Section 69, Grey District, Block IX, Paritutu Survey District,
and Lots 10 and 11, Deeds Plan 18, being part Section 56, Grey
District, Block V, Paritutu Survey District, as more particularly
shown on plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New
Plymouth numbered S.O. 8220 and thereon egeded red, and being
all of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 122, folio 54, and part of
the land in certificate of title, Vol. 122, folio 71 (Taranaki Registry).
