Crown Land set apart for Post and Telegraph Purposes (Postmaster's Residence) in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart : 21 perches. Being Lot 44, D.P. 20641; being part Allotment 9 of Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland.

Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33927.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123339, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of May, 1946.

Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.โ€”AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, containing by admeasurement 973 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block XIV, and Section 3, Block XV, Pakaumanu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 44/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 22574.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of May, 1946.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Kairakau 1? 1, 2, and 3 Blocks, Block XII, Oero Survey District, Hawke's Bay Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and section two of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1918:

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 4 acres 3 roods 11 perches. Being road-line through Kairakau 1? 1, 2, and 3 Blocks.

Situated in Block XII, Oero Survey District. (S.O. plan 1796, blue.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 7/636A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2951, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of May, 1946.

Declaring Lands in the Canterbury Land District to be subject to the Provisions of Section 23 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands of the Crown to be subject to the provisions of that section to enable certain readjustment of leases and licenses to be carried into effect:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be subject to the provisions of the said section:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by subsection one of the aforesaid section twenty-three, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the gazetting hereof, the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the said section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1939.
