Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I,
Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of
Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto, being a Provisional State Forest Reserve set
apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and gazetted on the
sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, is
required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the pro-
visions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the
gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall
become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
