Crown Land in Wellington Land District set apart for the Purposes
of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by
section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart
for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—CITY OF LOWER HUTT
SECTIONS 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block XLVI, Hutt Valley Settlement :
Area, 1 acre 1 rood 9·87 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1945.

Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Hokitika Borough
Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of
November, 1945

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is part
of a reserve for provincial government purposes and is
vested in the Hokitika Borough Council, in trust, for county
government purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land
as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Hokitika
Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the
vesting in the Hokitika Borough Council of the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Borough of Hokitika, containing by
admeasurement 15·9 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 725,
Town of Hokitika, and being portion of the land comprised and
described in Certificate of Title, Volume 29, folio 122 (Westland
Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 5251A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

Revoking the Reservation over a Reserve in Tarawera Survey District,
Auckland Land District

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the
Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for
gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the
Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Borough of Rotorua, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 37 perches, more or less, being part Section 1,
Block I, Tarawera Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 30/228/28B, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that from and after the twenty-sixth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-five, the public domains described
in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain,
to be known as the Naseby Domain.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NASEBY DOMAIN.—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 23, Block I, Naseby Survey District : Area, 120 acres,
more or less.

the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-ninth day
of that month appointing a Domain Board to have control of the
