The Stipendiary Magistrates (Travelling-allowance) Amendment Regulations 1945

URSUANT to section ten of the Magistrates' Courts Act, 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations.

REGULATIONS

  1. These regulations may be cited as the Stipendiary Magistrates (Travelling-allowance) Amendment Regulations 1945, and shall be read together with and form part of the regulations made under section 10 of the Magistrates' Courts Act, 1928, on the 2nd day of July, 1934, and published in the Gazette on the 5th day of the same month at page 2093 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations").
  2. The principal regulations, as amended by the regulation made on the 14th day of July, 1936, and published in the Gazette on the 23rd day of the same month at page 1396, and by the regulation made on the 13th day of September, 1944, and published in the Gazette on the 14th day of the same month at page 1117, are hereby further amended by substituting, in lieu of the expression "22s. 6d." where it occurs in Regulation 1 thereof, the expression "25s."

The Invercargill Milk District Constitution Order 1945

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of August, 1945
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Milk Act, 1944; His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare as follows:-

  1. This Order may be cited as the Invercargill Milk District Constitution Order 1945.
  2. The City of Invercargill is hereby constituted and declared a milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, with the name of the "Invercargill Milk District".
  3. The Milk Authority of the said milk district shall be the Invercargill City Council.

The Southern Side of Portion of Brooklyn Valley Road and the Eastern Side of Portion of a Public Road, in the County of Waimea, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1945
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimea County Council on the thirteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz:-
"The Waimea County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Waimea, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of portion of Brooklyn Valley Road and the eastern side of portion of public road fronting subdivision of Section 6, District of Motueka, Block III, Motueka Survey District, C.T. 62/46";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Brooklyn Valley Road or the eastern side of the portion of a public road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

SCHEDULE
The southern side of all that portion of road situated in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimea, known as Brooklyn Valley Road, fronting Section 6, District of Motueka, Block III, Motueka Survey District.
Also the eastern side of all that portion of a public road situated in the said land district and county, fronting Section 6, District of Motueka, Block III, Motueka Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121961, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The North-western Side of Portion of Waikiekie Road, in the Borough of Thames, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1945
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Thames Borough Council on the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz:-
"The Thames Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Thames, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-western side of the portion of Waikiekie Road adjoining all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Thames containing one acre two roods and twenty perches (1 acre 2 roods 20 perches), more or less, being part of Te Weiti Block, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title (limited as to parcels and title), Volume 565, folio 72 (Auckland Registry);"
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE
THE north-western side of all that portion of street in the Auckland Land District, Borough of Thames, known as Waikiekie Road, adjoining part of Te Weiti Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122011, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Revoking the Vesting of the Control of a Reserve for a Site for a Public Hall in the Hutt County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1945
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Hutt County Council for a reserve for a site for a public hall by an Order in Council dated the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in Gazette of the seventh day of that month, in pursuance of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection two of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 7, Block III, Paraparaumu Township : Area, 1 rood, more or less.
