EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 482, folio 273, for Lot 19, Deposited Plan 254, part of Rural Section 8767, situate in the Borough of Ashburton, whereof JOHN REID, of Ashburton (now of Christchurch), Railway Clerk, is the registered proprietor, together with an application for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such new certificate of title at the expiration of fourteen days from 16th August, 1945.

WAITOMO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Conversion Loan, 1945, £77,600
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and the Waitomo Electric-power Board’s Loan Conversion Order and Amendment 1934, and all other Acts and powers it enabling, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £77,600 (seventy-seven thousand six hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Waitomo Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Acts and Orders, for the purpose of redeeming the Conversion Loan, 1934, of £77,600, and the issue of new securities in place thereof totalling £77,600, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and thirteen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waitomo Electric-power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of nineteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
