Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :

“ The Taieri County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Taieri, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the northern portion of the road fronting the subdivision of part Sections 25 and 26, Irregular Block, East Taieri Survey District ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of portion of public road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Southland County Council on the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :

“ The Southland County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Southland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern and western sides of the portions of roads adjoining part Section 31, Block II, and part Section 11, Block III, Wyndham Survey District, and comprised in certificate of Title, Volume 78, folio 30 ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern and western sides of the portions of roads (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Nelson City Council on the seventeenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :

“ That the Nelson City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Nelson, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of the portion of Beachville Crescent adjoining part of Section 1180, City of Nelson, as shown on the plan annexed to this resolution in the Council’s minute-book ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Beachville Crescent (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

Recreation Reserve in Nelson Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Rotoiti Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Rotoiti Domain Board.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 466 acres 2 roods and 17·7 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. No. 3320, and being part of Section 18, Square 46, situated in Block XVI, Howard Survey District, part of Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, and 102, Square 46, situated in Block XIII, Motupiko Survey District, and Sections 6, 13, and 15 of the said Block XIII, Motupiko Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 92, folio 84 (Nelson Registry).
