the north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned rural section to a
point on the south-eastern boundary of the Dunedin-Christchurch
Railway-line; thence south-westerly along the said south-eastern
boundary of that railway-line to a point in line with the north-
western side of Pound Road; thence north-easterly by a right line
across the said Dunedin-Christchurch Railway-line, to and along
the north-western side of Pound Road aforesaid, and along the
north-western side of Sinclair’s Road, to and across Harewood
Road to the south-eastern corner of Rural Section 3060 aforesaid,
the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked 90/15, deposited in the office
of the Milk Marketing Division of the Marketing Department,
Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Constituting the Dunedin Metropolitan Milk District under the
Milk Act, 1944

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
June, 1945

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by
the Milk Act, 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
doth hereby constitute and declare the parts of New Zealand
described in the Schedule hereto a milk district under the said Act,
as from the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-five, and doth hereby assign to such milk district the name
of the “Dunedin Metropolitan Milk District”.


SCHEDULE

ALL that area comprising the City of Dunedin, the boroughs of
Mosgiel, Green Island, St. Kilda, West Harbour, and Port Chalmers,
and parts of Taieri, Waikouaiti, and Peninsula Counties: Com-
mencing at a point on the coast-line in line with the south-western
corner of Allotment 11, Block III, Township of Brighton; thence
north-easterly by a right line to a point at the intersections on the
boundary-line between Section 2A and Section 3A, Duncan Settle-
ment, and Taylor’s Creek; thence north-westerly along the north-
eastern side of Block I, Otokai Survey District, to Irregular Block,
East Taieri Survey District; thence north-easterly along the
south-eastern boundary of said Irregular Block to the eastern
corner of Section 37; thence north-westerly to and along the
north-eastern boundary of Blocks IV and VIII, East Taieri Survey
District; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary
of Blocks XI, X, and Part IX; thence south-easterly along the
Otago Central Railway Reserve, to and along the south-eastern
boundary of parts of Blocks V and XIII to the western boundary
of Block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; thence
south-westerly along that boundary to Wingatui—Halfway Bush
Road; thence north-easterly along that road to Duke’s
Road — Dunedin Main Highway; thence easterly to and northerly
along Halfway Bush Road to the road on the south-eastern boundary
of Section 2 of 25, Block V aforesaid, Dunedin and East Taieri
Survey District; thence easterly along that road to the Dunedin
City boundary; thence north-easterly along that boundary to
Swampy Hill; thence easterly along the said Dunedin City boundary
to the south-eastern corner of Section 9, Block III, North Harbour
and Blueskin Survey District; thence northerly along that
boundary to and easterly along the southern boundary of Blocks I
and IV to Block V, all of North Harbour and Blueskin Survey
District; thence easterly along the road forming the southern
boundaries of Sections 9 to 18, said Block V, along the eastern
boundary of said Section 18 and the southern boundary of Section 50
to the ocean; thence south-easterly by the Pacific Ocean; thence
along the north-western and south-eastern sides of Otago Harbour
to the junction of roads at Portobello; thence south-westerly along
the Dunedin-Portobello High Road to McMeeking Road; thence
southerly along that road to and across Sections 36 and 37, Block I,
Otago Peninsula, to the ocean; thence south-westerly by the ocean
to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked 93/15, deposited in the office
of the Milk Marketing Division of the Marketing Department,
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Whangarei Milk District Constitution Order 1945

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
June, 1945

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the
Milk Act, 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth
hereby order and declare as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the Whangarei Milk District
    Constitution Order 1945.

  2. Those parts of New Zealand consisting of the Borough of
    Whangarei and the Town District of Kamo are hereby constituted
    and declared a milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the
    fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five,
    with the name of the “Whangarei Milk District”.

  3. The Milk Authority of the said district shall be the Whangarei
    Borough Council.

  4. The Kamo Town Board shall be entitled to have a represen-
    tative on the Milk Committee of the Whangarei Borough Council
    and from time to time to nominate one person for that purpose.

  5. The Whangarei Borough Council shall from time to time
    appoint to the Milk Committee of the Borough Council the person
    nominated by the Kamo Town Board pursuant to clause four hereof.

The Wanganui Milk District Constitution Order 1945

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by

acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
doth hereby order and declare as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the Wanganui Milk District
    Constitution Order 1945.

  2. The City of Wanganui is hereby constituted and declared a
    milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the fifteenth day
    of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, with the name
    of the “Wanganui Milk District”.

  3. The Milk Authority of the said milk district shall be the
    Wanganui City Council.

    Constitution Order 1945.

  2. The Borough of Hastings is hereby constituted and declared
    a milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the fifteenth day
    of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, with the name
    of the “Hastings Milk District”.

  3. The Milk Authority of the said milk district shall be the
    Hastings Borough Council.

    Constitution Order 1945.

  2. The Borough of Dannevirke is hereby constituted and declared
    a milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the fifteenth day
    of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, with the name
    of the “Dannevirke Milk District”.

  3. The Milk Authority of the said milk district shall be the
    Dannevirke Borough Council.
