and which memorandum of lease is recorded in certificate of title
of leasehold register-book, Vol. 444, folio 71 (Wellington Registry),
subject to Memorandum of Mortgage Registered No. 225549 to the
Bank of New Zealand.
Stock
All that the live and dead farming stock of the said John McLeod,
comprising sheep, cattle, horses, and farm machinery and implements
and tools now depasturing upon or being upon the said lands.
MONEYS
(a) The sum of one hundred pounds (Β£100), being deposit
moneys held by the firm of Messieurs Harris, Marsack, and Hall,
Solicitors, of Taumarunui, on account of the purchase-moneys
payable under the said Agreement for Sale and Purchase of the
said 10th day of November, 1944.
(b) Such moneys (if any) as may be held by the Bank of New
Zealand on account of the said John McLeod.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and
authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust
Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the
Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Colin Barkwith Allan, of
the Public Trust Office, Hamilton, to be deputy of the District
Public Trustee, Hamilton, during the absence of such District
Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous
Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee
have been revoked.

Law Practitioners Amendment Act, 1935
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Amendment Act, 1935,
notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the
New Zealand Law Society on the 15th day of March, 1945, ordered
that the name of Ernest Edmond Bailey be removed at his own
request from the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand to enable him to apply for admission as a Barrister in
England.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
W. Duncan, 61 Battery Road, Napier, has applied for a variation
of his existing license in respect of the "Marina," NR. 7, so as to
permit him to operate a 45 ft. 66 h.p. fishing-vessel (to be built),
using trawl-nets, set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines,
catches to be landed at Napier.
A. G. Bonica, 27 Hardinge Road, Port Ahuriri, Napier, has
applied for a variation of his existing license in respect of the
"Rosa," NR. 51, using trawl-nets, set-nets, drag-nets, long lines,
and hand-lines, so as to permit him to land his catches at Gisborne
instead of Napier.
Fish Retailing
W. J. Snook, 17A George Street, New Brighton, Christchurch,
has applied for a fish-retailer's license to permit him to sell wet and
cooked fish from premises situated at Main Road, North Beach,
New Brighton.
Export of Fish
The Hawke's Bay Trawling Co., Ltd., Bridge Street, Port
Ahuriri, Napier, have applied for a license to carry on the industry
described as the export of fish.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
J. Middleton, Park Avenue, Lower Hutt, has applied for permission
to manufacture women's, maids', girls', and children's open-type sandals (riveted soles), also woolly sheep-skin slippers,
sales to be confined to own shop.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the
decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should
make any desired representations in writing not later than the 14th

Bay, King's Drive, Auckland, and the Vehicle Reception
Depot, Cornwall Park, Auckland.
