Station; bounded on the west and north-west generally by the Waikohu County boundary, as hereinbefore described, to the northernmost point of Lot 30 (D.P. 2384), Block V, Arowhana Survey District; thence on the north-east by Lots 5 (D.P. 2481), 4 (D.P. 2396), and 1 (D.P. 2394); thence on the south-east generally by the north-west boundary of Lots 27 (D.P. 2633) and 14 (D.P. 1212) to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence by the southern boundary of Lot 28 (D.P. 2384) to the easternmost point of Lot 19 (D.P. 1516); thence on the east generally by the western boundary of the Mangatu Riding to the southernmost corner of the Mangatu 4 Block; thence on the east and south-east generally by the north-west boundary of the Waihuka Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 2867, to its junction with the Koranga Stream; thence on the south-west and south generally by the north-west and north boundaries of Ngatapa Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1920, page 2867, to the point of commencement.

Altering Boundaries of Whangarei and Bay of Islands Counties and including Area in Russell Riding, Bay of Islands County

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section fourteen of the Counties Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Whangarei County, shall be added to and form part of the Bay of Islands County; that the boundaries of the Whangarei County and Bay of Islands Counties as so altered shall be those set forth under the respective headings in the Second Schedule hereto; that the area added as aforesaid to the Bay of Islands County shall be included in the Russell Riding of the said county; and that the boundaries of the Russell Riding as so altered shall be those set forth in the Third Schedule hereto; and I also proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as on and from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.

FIRST SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM WHANGAREI COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing on the seashore at the northernmost corner of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4A 9 Block and running south-easterly generally along the coast to the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block; thence south-westerly generally along the northern and north-western boundaries of the said No. 4F Block and the north-western boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4G Block; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Tutaematai Block; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga Nos. 4A 7 and 4A 9 Blocks to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WHANGAREI COUNTY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, where the south-eastern boundary of the Bay of Islands County meets the ocean, and being at the eastern end of the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block, and running south-easterly along the coast to Bream Tail at the north-eastern corner of Allotment 91, Parish of Waipu; thence westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 91 and the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 330 of the said parish and a right line, being the production of the last-mentioned boundary, across a public road to the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 351, Waipu Parish; thence along the northern and western boundaries of that allotment, the northern boundaries of Allotments 336 and Part 337A, a right line across a public road, to and along the northern boundaries of the other part of Allotment 337A and part Allotment 235, all of Waipu Parish; along part of the northern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Waipu Survey District, a right line across a public road, to and along the northern boundary of the other part of the said Section 1, and the north-western boundary of part Section 5, Block X, Waipu Survey District, and a right line, being the production of the southern end of the last-mentioned boundary, across a public road to its south-eastern side; thence along the south-eastern side of the road forming the north-western boundary of Sections part 5, 4, 3A, and 3, all of the said Block X, to its junction with the eastern side of another public road; thence along a right line, across the aforesaid public roads to the northern corner of Section 2 of the aforesaid Block X, along part of the northern boundary of that section, along a right line across another public road, to and along the northern boundary of the other parts of the said Section 2, to and down the middle of the Piroa Stream; thence along the south-western boundary of Waipu Parish, to and along part of the south-western boundary of Ruarangi Parish, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Waikiekie Parish, to and along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Tauraroa Parish, and crossing intervening roads to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 166, Omaru Parish; thence along a right line in the direction of the northern end of the said north-western boundary to the middle of the Mangonui River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Tauraroa River, and up the middle of the last-mentioned river to a point in line, with the production southward of the eastern boundary of Lot 44 on D.P. 8548, being part of Walton’s Grant; thence along a right line, to and along the southern end of the said eastern boundary, along a right line across a public road, to and along the northern end of the aforesaid eastern boundary, and along part of the northern boundary of Lot 43 on the said D.P. 8548 to the eastern boundary of Block VII, Tangihua Survey District; thence northerly along the said eastern boundary and the eastern boundary
