Fish Retailing

F. C. R. Ford, Bridge Street, Nelson, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit him to sell wet and cooked fish from premises situated at 4 Waimea Road, Nelson.

C. V. Thomson, 122 Musselburgh Line, Dunedin, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit him to sell wet and cooked fish from premises to be known as the Tainui Fish Supply, Tainui.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

Messrs. Hunt and Gardner, Motor and Electrical Engineers, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one petrol pump installed at garage premises situated at 229 Moray Place, Dunedin, and previously licensed in the name of Napier Motors, Limited.

Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 17th May, 1945, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE

Town Lands in North Auckland Land District for Sale

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 2nd May, 1945.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for sale for cash or on deferred payments under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 18th June, 1945.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 20th June, 1945, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot the necessary deposit (see below).


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LANDS

City of Auckland.—Suburbs of Auckland

Lot 188 of Section 10: Area, 35·5 perches. Purchase-price, £375. Deposit on deferred payments, £25: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments (term: ten years), £22.19s. 8d.

This lot fronts Corbett Scott Avenue, Epsom, and although it falls from the footpath level the section is generally flat and quite a good building-site.

Deposit required

(a) If purchased for cash, a deposit of one-fifth of the purchase-price and £1 title fee; the balance of the purchase-price is payable within thirty days.

(b) If purchased on deferred payments, a deposit of £25 and £1 1s. license fee.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921–22, as a State forest.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

That area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing by admeasurement 2,858 acres 3 roods 16·1 perches or less, being Section 4, Block I, and Section 2, Block V, Whangarei Survey District, part Maruata No. 7B Block, parts Maruata No. 8 Block, and part Maruata No. 6B Block, situated in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, and being the lands comprised and described in certificates of title, Vol. 240, folio 159, Vol. 245, folio 108, Vol. 264, folio 237, Vol. 292, folio 22, and Vol. 293, folio 123. As the same is delineated on plan No. 9/16, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
