The Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1943, Amendment No. 1
—
PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :—

This notice may be cited as the Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1943, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Levin Milk Delivery Notice 1943† (hereinafter referred to as “ the principal scheme ”).

Clause (6) of the principal scheme is hereby revoked and the following clause is substituted therefor :—
“ (6) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows :—

The Feilding Milk Delivery Scheme, 1941, Amendment No. 2
—
PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :—

This notice may be cited as the Feilding Milk Delivery Scheme, 1941, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Feilding Milk Delivery Scheme 1941† (hereinafter referred to as “ the principal scheme ”).

Clause 3 of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “ A. W. Trass, Pharazyn Road, Feilding ; F. Tootell, Kimbolton Road, Feilding ; B. Tootell, Pharazyn Street, Feilding ; H. Goldsack, Aorangi, Feilding,” and substituting therefor where they occur respectively the words “ H. M. Evans, Kimbolton Road, Feilding.”

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land
—
I, CLARENCE FARRINGDON SKINNER, Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby give notice of my intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act.
I specify the 30th day of June, 1945, as the date on which possession of the lands is required, and the 31st day of May, 1945, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

ALL those parcels of land containing together four thousand two hundred and eight (4,208) acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Tahoraiti Survey District, being part of Kaitoki No. 1 and 3 Blocks, Lots 1 and 2, Deposited Plan 2003, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 29, folio 78, and Vol. 90, folio 91 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).
As witness my hand, this 4th day of January, 1945.

Special Order made by the Hutt County Council altering Riding Boundaries and adjusting Representation

Wellington, 16th January, 1945.
THE following special order made by the Hutt County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920, in so far as publication is required by that Act. Pursuant to section 100 of the aforesaid Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921-22, I hereby fix the 31st day of March, 1945, as the date from which the subdivision of the Whareroa Riding of the County of Hutt into two ridings as set out in the said special order shall take effect.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
SUBDIVISION OF WHAREROA RIDING INTO TWO RIDINGS AND ADJUSTING REPRESENTATION ON THE COUNCIL
Proposed by the County Chairman—
“ In exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 23, 69 (b), and 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows :—
“ 1. The present division of the County of Hutt into seven ridings is revoked, and in lieu thereof the said county shall be divided into eight ridings by subdividing the Whareroa Riding into two ridings, to be known as Kapiti Riding and Whareroa Riding respectively. The said new Ridings of Kapiti and Whareroa are respectively described in the Schedule hereunder.
“ 2. The said Hutt County Council shall consist of eight members, who shall be elected as follows : The electors of Epuni, Heretaunga, Horokiwi, Mangaroa, Taupo, Wainui-o-Mata, Kapiti, and Whareroa Ridings shall each elect one member.
“ 3. The alteration hereby made shall take effect on a date to be fixed in that behalf by the Honourable the Minister of Internal Affairs and notified in the Gazette.

“ BOUNDARIES OF TWO NEW RIDINGS
“ Proposed Kapiti Riding
“ ALL that area in the Hutt County, bounded, commencing at a point in the middle of the Waikanae River in line with the eastern boundary of Ngarara West A Section 63B, situated in Block III, Kapiti Survey District ; thence in a southerly direction generally to and along the eastern boundaries of Ngarara West A Sections 63B and 63A to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section ; thence along the north-western boundaries of parts of Lot 8 on Deposited Plans 3807 and 2241, being subdivisions of Ngarara West A Section 8, to and along the north-western boundary of Section 2s, and along the north-western boundary of Section 1s, Ngarara Settlement, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section ; thence along the south-western boundaries of Sections 1s and 3s, Ngarara Settlement, to the northernmost corner of Ngarara West B Section 5 ; thence along the north-western boundary of the last-mentioned section and its production to the south-western side of Beach Road ; thence along the south-western side of Beach Road to the northernmost corner of Ngarara West B Section 4 ; thence along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the last-mentioned section and along the south-western boundaries of Ngarara West B Sections 3c, 3b, 3A, and 2c to the western side of No. 13 Levin-Paekakariki State Highway ; thence again in a general southerly direction along the western side of that highway to a point in line with the western side of the Paekakariki Hill Road ; thence to and along the western side of Paekakariki Hill Road to its junction with the northern boundary of Paekakariki 2A No. 1 Block ; and thence westerly along the northern boundary of Paekakariki 2A No. 1 Block to the mean high-water mark of the sea ; and thence in a northerly direction generally along the mean high-water mark of the sea to the mouth of the Waikanae River ; and thence along the middle of the Waikanae River to the point of commencement.
“ Proposed Whareroa Riding
“ All that area in the Hutt County, bounded, commencing at a point in the middle of the Waikanae River in line with the eastern boundary of Ngarara West A Section 63B, situated in Block III, Kapiti Survey District ; thence in an easterly direction generally along the northern boundary of Hutt County to the northern boundary of Ngarara West C 18 Section 2 ; thence in a general southerly direction along the western boundary of Mangaroa Riding, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1927, page 3289, to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block IX, Akatarawa Survey District ; thence southerly, westerly, and north-westerly generally along the boundary of Horokiwi Riding, as described in New Zealand Gazettes 1929, page 356, and 1927, page 3288, to the western side of the Paekakariki Hill Road ; and thence in a general northerly direction along the eastern boundary of Kapiti Riding above described to the point of commencement.”
