to its intersection by a right line from the northernmost corner of
Allotment 1 aforesaid to the westernmost corner of Allotment 45,

COMMENCING on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Taieri River, and
bounded towards the south-west by the centre of the Taieri River
to the south-west boundary of Block VI, Maungatua Survey District,
and by that boundary to Waipori Lake; thence towards the north-
west by Waipori Lake to the Waipori River and the centre of that
river to the south-western corner of Block XV, Maungatua Survey
District: thence towards the west by the eastern boundary of
Blocks X, VIII, VI, Waipori District; thence towards the north
by Block VI aforesaid to Trig. F; thence again towards the west by
the eastern boundary of Blocks VI, III, and the production of that
boundary, to Lee Stream; thence again towards the south-west by
the centre of Lee Stream to its intersection with the south-west
boundary of Section 24, Block III, Lee Stream Survey District,
and Run 186A to a road intersection west of Trig. G; thence towards
the east, south, and south-west by the pole track from Waipori on
the dividing watershed between Deep Stream and Lee Stream to a
road intersection south of Trig. H in Run 353c; thence again towards
the west by a dotted road-line running along the leading ridge to the
Old Dunstan Road on the Lammermoor Ranges to Trig. N (Soutra
Hill); thence again towards the north-west by a straight line to
Trig. H (Summit Rock) and by a line running from Trig. H to a
point on the south-eastern boundary of Run 204r in line with the
production of the south-western boundary of Run 205m; thence
towards the north-east by that line and the south-western boundary
of Run 205m aforesaid to the Taieri River; thence again towards
the north-east to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block III,
Strath Taieri District, by a line running south-easterly to The
Hummock; thence towards the north by the southern boundary of
Section 1 aforesaid and Section 2, Block VI, Budle District, to a
road-line; thence towards the east by that road-line forming the
western boundary of Sections 21, 20, 19, 17, 16, 24, 15, and 14,
Block VI aforesaid, and Section 2, Block I, Hummock Survey
District, to the aforesaid line running from the Taieri River to The
Hummock; thence again towards the north-east by that line to
The Hummock; thence towards the east generally by the western
boundary of Runs 171c, 171g, 171b, and Section 5, Block VII,
Silver Peak District; thence towards the north by a road-line
forming the southern boundary of Section 5 aforesaid to the western
boundary of Block IX, Silver Peak Survey District; thence again
towards the east generally by the western and southern boundaries
of Block IX and western boundary of Block VII and the production
of that boundary-line to Silver Peak and a straight line to Swamy
Hill; thence again towards the east generally by the City of Dunedin
boundary as follows: By Sections 2 and 1, Block V, Dunedin and
East Taieri Survey District, across a road, Sections 8, 60, 77, across
a road, Section 76, the abutment of a road, Sections 75, 45, 44, 43,
42, 41, 58, Block V aforesaid, Sections 66, 64, 62, 60, 53, 56, 54, 52,
53, 51, 17, 23, 25, across a road, Sections 27, 29, 30, by and across a

Kaikorai Stream, by the right bank of that stream to Section 17

COMMENCING on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Kaikorai Stream,
and bounded towards the north-west by the Kaikorai Stream and
Abbot’s Creek to the Main South Road; thence towards the south
by the Main South Road to the road forming the north-western
boundary of Section 77, Block VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey
District; thence towards the north-west by that road to the north-
western boundary of Section 15, Block VI, aforesaid district, a closed
road-line, across a road, and by the road forming the south-eastern
boundary of Sections 6 and 7, Block VI aforesaid; thence towards
the south-west by Sections 7 and 4, Block VI aforesaid, and Sections

2 of 1 and 1 of 1, Block XIII, East Taieri Survey District; thence
towards the north generally by the road forming the southern

Result of Election of a Member of the Invercargill Fire Board by
Fire-insurance Companies

THE following result of the election of a member of the Inver-
cargill Fire Board by fire-insurance companies has been
reported to the Minister of Internal Affairs, and is notified in
accordance with the rules under the Fire Brigades Act, 1926:—

The Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941 revoked

PURSUANT to the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby revoke, as from the
day of the date hereof, the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification
Order 1941 and the amendment and variations thereof.

Dated at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1945.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66 ft.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is
inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown
upon the plan of Town of Wairarapa Farm Extension No. 22,
affecting part Rural Sections 1231 and 2200, situated in Block X,
Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District, is intended
to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Wallace Road
shown thereon should be of the width of 66 ft.:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon him
by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every
other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands doth
hereby authorize the laying-off of Wallace Road of a width of not
less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for
any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less
distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such Wallace Road.

Given under the hand of the Minister of Lands, this 19th day
of April, 1945.

part Allotments 29 and 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland,
situated in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auck-
land Land District, is intended to be used wholly for residential
purposes, that Endrick, Yarrow, and Don Streets shown thereon
should be of the width of 66 ft.:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon
him by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of
every other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands
doth hereby authorize the laying-off of Endrick, Yarrow, and Don
Streets of a width of not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that
it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected
any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such
roads.

Given under the hand of the Minister of Lands, this 19th day
of April, 1945.
