Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the buildings situated on the land described in the Schedule hereto, being buildings provided and maintained wholly or in part out of moneys appropriated for the purpose by Parliament, together with the land described in the said Schedule, and used or intended to be used in connection with the said buildings, to be a public institution within the meaning of the Mental Defectives Act, 1911.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Clifton James Wills,
Ivan Duguid Brunton,
Esric Andrew Clark,
Alfred Benjamin Muggeridge, and
Robert Gilbert Walker
to be the Manutahi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Manutahi Public Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part of section numbered 9 on the plan of the Manutahi Ten-acre Settlement, Block XIV, Hawera Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 830·5 links; towards the south-east by other part of Section 9, 453 links; towards the south-west by Section 8, 830 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 454·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/197, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Ohakune Agricultural and Pastoral Association

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of April, 1945
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for an agricultural and pastoral showground, and is vested in the Ohakune Agricultural and Pastoral Association:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Ohakune Agricultural and Pastoral Association has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Ohakune Agricultural and Pastoral Association of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for access purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for access purposes.

ALL that area in the Waitemata County situated in Block VI, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 32·58 perches, more or less, being Lot 318 on D.P. 24221, being part of Allotment 27, Parish of Waikomiti. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/163A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that opossums may be taken or killed within the acclimatization districts specified in the Schedule hereto, except in any sanctuary other than a scenic reserve, subject in all cases to the general regulations made by Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and to the special conditions specified in connection with each district.
