hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act,
1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the

officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated oppo-
site their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized

Appointing a Member of the Wanganui Harbour Board

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the Harbours Act, 1923, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint

Godfrey Clapham Wells

to be a member of the Wanganui Harbour Board as a representative
of the electors of the combined district of those portions of the
counties of Wanganui and Waimarino within the Harbour District,
in place of Donald Sutherland, deceased.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 15th day of April, 1945.

Setting apart Tidal Land for Disposal under Section 146 of the
Harbours Act, 1923

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred by section one hundred and forty-six of the Harbours
Act, 1923, and of the regulations made thereunder, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto for disposal under the section of the Act hereinbefore
mentioned.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas in the Gisborne Land District, Opotiki Survey
District, containing together approximately 26 acres 2 roods, more
or less, being Section 8, Block I, Opotiki Survey District. As the
same is more particularly delineated on plan marked M.D. 8369,
deposited in the Head Office, Marine Department, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 18th day of April, 1945.

Setting apart Unalienated Crown Land for Purposes of Part III
(State Coal-mines) of the Coal-mines Act, 1925

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by subsection one of section one hundred and sixty-
seven of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare that the unalienated Crown land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part III of the said
Act, and do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect
as from the date of the gazetting hereof.

ALL that area of unalienated Crown land in the Taranaki Land
District, containing 248 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less,
being Section 8, Block I, Pahi Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked N. 6/4/57,
deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Mines at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 18th day of April, 1945.

upon me by section four of the Nurses and Midwives
Registration Act, 1925, as amended by section ten of the Nurses and
Midwives Registration Amendment Act, 1944, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

Margaret Catherine MacRae, R.N., R.M.N., R.P.N.,

to be a member of the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
under the aforesaid Act as from the first day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-five.

Trustees of Purangi Public Cemetery appointed

PURSUANT to section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908,
I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the Inglewood County
Council to be the trustees of the cemetery, within the meaning
of the said Act, known as the Purangi Public Cemetery, being the
land described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control
and management thereof.

ment Act, 1944; and pursuant to a request made to me by the
Rehabilitation Board in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
authorize the officers of the Public Service whose names are set out
in the Schedule hereto to execute, on behalf of the Rehabilitation
Board, deeds and other documents, being agreements relating to
the hire and purchase of tools of trade and other chattels supplied
to persons undergoing training at a rehabilitation trade-training
centre.
