THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby revoke, in so far only as it relates to the Te Aroha Public Cemetery, the Order in Council delegating powers under the said Act made on the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in the Gazette on the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, at page 1217, whereby powers of appointing and removing trustees in respect to the Te Aroha Public Cemetery were delegated to the Te Aroha Borough Council.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Palmerston North of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of April, 1945
Present:
THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THE proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 25.12 perches, more or less, being part Rural Section 1536, Town of Palmerston North, and being also parts Lots 11, 12, 25, and 26, D.P. 2494. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120738, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of April, 1945

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :-
"The New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of Vivian Street adjoining Sections 322, 323, and 324, Town of New Plymouth, Certificate of Title, Volume 111, folio 152 (Taranaki Registry)";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of portion of Vivian Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Vivian Street, fronting Sections 322, 323, and 324, Town of New Plymouth. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121116, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five, viz. :-
"The Christchurch City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the north-western side of Long Street adjoining the land contained in Lot 20 and part Lot 19, D.P. 99, Certificate of Title, Volume 110, folio 43, part R.S. 31";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Long Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known as Long Street, fronting Lots 11, 12, 19, and 20, D.P. 99, being part of Rural Section 31. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121049, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
