along the centre of the road forming the southern boundaries of

All that area in the Waikato County, bounded towards the north
generally by the Tamahere Riding as described in the Schedule
hereto, and towards the east, south, and west generally by the
county boundary as described in the Second Schedule.

KIWITAHl RIDING, PIAKO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Piako County, bounded by a line commencing
at the western corner of Lot 1 on L.T. Plan 20705, being part of
Tahuroa No. 1 Block, and running north-easterly generally along
the south-east boundary of part Lots 2 and 3 on D.P. 7860 and
part Lot 1 on D.P. 6958, being parts of Mangaotupua Block, Lot 8
on D.P. 5208, Lot 2 on D.P. 13897, both being parts of Kuranui
Block, the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of part
Lot 3 on D.P. 26134, being part of Kuranui and Te Mutu Blocks,
to and down the Topehahae Stream, the Waitakaruru Stream, and
the Piako River, to and up a small stream forming the northern
and north-western boundaries of Lots 2 and 1 on D.P. 7542, being
part of Maungatapu Block ; thence eastward generally along the
northern boundary of part Maungatapu Block as shown on D.P.
1932, to and across a public road and along its north-eastern side,
to and along the southern boundary of another part of Maungatapu
Block as shown on D.P. 1038A, and along the southern boundaries
of Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 27053 to the Waiharakeke Stream ; thence
southerly generally up that stream, to and along the north-eastern
boundaries of Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 28835, being part of Maungatapu
Block, to and across a public road, along the north-eastern boundary
of part Lot South 12 on D.P. 6569, being part of the said
Maungatapu Block, to and across a public road, along its eastern
side, to and across another public road, and along the eastern side
of the public road along the western boundary of Pakarau Settle-
ment ; to and along the eastern boundary of Te Au O Waikato-
Maungatapu No. 9B 2 Section 2 Block to the Piako River ; thence
up that river and the Piakonui Stream to the eastern boundary
of Kiwitahi No. 1A Block, along the said eastern boundary and the
eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 23088, being parts of
Kiwitahi Nos. 1B and 1C Blocks, and along the eastern boundaries
of Kiwitahi Nos. 1D 2 and 1D 1 to the boundary of the Waikato
County as described in the Second Schedule ; thence westerly
generally along the county boundary to the point of commencement.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street, in the City of Wanganui, of
a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 44 ft., subject to a
Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of
March, 1945

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act,
1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wanganui
City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described
in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not
less than forty-four feet, subject to the condition that no building or
part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the said street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-
line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THE proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of
Wanganui, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 12·5 perches, more
or less, being parts Sections 17 and 18, Right Bank, Wanganui River,
being part Lot 45 and part Lots 56 and 57, D.P. 258. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120385,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £34,000 by the Waipawa
Hospital Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of
February, 1945

Present :

THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the Waipawa Hospital Board (hereinafter called
“ the said local authority ”), being desirous of raising a
loan of thirty-four thousand pounds (£34,000), to be known as
“ Maternity Services Loan, 1944 ” (hereinafter called “ the said
loan ”), for the purpose of erecting a maternity annex to Waipu-
kurau Hospital, with roading, engineering services, equipment, and
an ante-natal clinic at Rathbone Maternity Hospital, with equipment
and complete services, has complied with the provisions of the Local
Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “ the said
Act ”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-
General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to
the raising of the said loan :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by
section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of
the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in
New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said
purpose up to the amount of thirty-four thousand pounds (£34,000),
and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows :—

(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may
be raised shall not exceed twenty-five (25) years.

(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said
loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the
lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds seven shillings and
sixpence (£3 7s. 6d.) per centum per annum.

(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest
thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly
instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.

(4) The payment of such instalments shall be made in New
Zealand, and no instalments shall be paid out of loan-moneys.

(5) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and pro-
curation fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part
thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of
any amount raised.

(6) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the
expiration of two years from the date hereof.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council
dated the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day
of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Pigeon
Bay Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Jacob George Blomquist
Reginald Sibley Crofts,
Albert Ronald Malcolm Day,
Allan Edward Baden Goodwin, and
Sydney Reynish

to be the Pigeon Bay Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday,
the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-five, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public
Library, Pigeon Bay, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

PIGEON BAY DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RESERVE 140, Block X, Pigeon Bay Survey District : Area, 2 acres
3 roods 10 perches, more or less.
