FIRST SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM PIAKO COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN WAIKATO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 24s, Te Miro Settlement, being a point on the boundary between the Waikato and Piako Counties, and running southerly and south-westerly along the western and north-western boundaries of the said Sections 24s, 23s, and 77s, Te Miro Settlement; thence running north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 71s, 72s, and 26s of the said settlement and the boundary of the last-mentioned section produced to the middle of Scotchman’s Valley Road; thence north-easterly along the centre of that road to a point being the production north-westward of the north-eastern boundary of the land on D.P. 24860; thence south-easterly along a right line, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of the land on D.P. 24860, being part of Tahuroa No. 2 and Kiwitahi No. 3c Blocks, and of the land on D.P. 28351, being also part of the Kiwitahi No. 3c and 3b Blocks, to the point of commencement.


SECOND SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM WAIKATO COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN PIAKO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary between the Waikato and Piako Counties, and being the north-eastern corner of Section 24s, Te Miro Settlement, and running easterly generally along the northern boundary of Kiwitahi No. 2E Block and the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi No. 1D 2 Block; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned block and Kiwitahi No. 1D 1 Block to the north-eastern corner of Kiwitahi 1E Block; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said 1E Block, and that boundary produced to the Topehae Stream; thence northerly down that stream to and along the southern boundary of Section 73s, Te Miro Settlement; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of 23s and 24s of the said settlement to the point of commencement.


THIRD SCHEDULE

WAIKATO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the Waikato River at its confluence with the Whangamarino River in Block VI, Maramarua Survey District; thence up the middle of the Whangamarino River, the Maramarua River, and the Mangatangi Stream to the middle of the Pokeno-Miranda Road; thence easterly along the middle of that road and the middle of the road forming the northern boundaries of part Allotment 158 and 157, Koheroa Parish, and part of the northern boundary of Section 3, Block VII, Wharekawa Survey District; along the middle of the road intersecting Lots 20, 21, 22, and 23 on D.P. 7211, being part of Wharekawa Nos. 2 and 3 Blocks, along the middle of part Wharekawa No. 1 Block, being the land between Lots 13 and 15 on D.P. 31704 and between Lots 1 and 3 on D.P. 27867, and the said Lot 15 on D.P. 31704; again along the middle of a public road, along the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of Allotment 213, Koheroa Parish, and again along the centre of the Pokeno-Miranda Road to the western boundary of Allotment 82, Koheroa Parish (the aforesaid boundary running easterly was formerly described as along the middle of the Mercer-Pukorokoro Road); thence along the western and northern boundaries of that allotment to the Firth of Thames at the mouth of Pukorokoro Creek; thence in a southerly direction generally along the confiscation boundary-line to Section 1, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1 aforesaid, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, Wharekawa Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 1, Block II, Piako Survey District, to the confiscation boundary-line, and along that line to the northern-most corner of Tahuroa No. 4 Block in Block IX, Maungakawa Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Tahuroa Nos. 4 and 3 Blocks; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Lot 1 and the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 2 on D.P. 20705; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundary of part Tahuroa No. 1 Block, to and along the middle of Scotchman’s Valley Road to a point being the production northward of the north-eastern boundary of part Tahuroa No. 2 Block as shown on D.P. 24860; thence south-easterly, to and along the north-eastern boundary of part Tahuroa No. 2 and part Kiwitahi No. 3c Block, as shown on the aforesaid D.P. 24860, along the north-eastern boundary of parts Kiwitahi Nos. 3c and 3b Blocks as shown on D.P. 28351, along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 24s, Te Miro Settlement, the eastern boundary of 23s and the northern boundary of 73s, both of the said settlement, to and up the Topehae Stream to a point being the production westward of the northern boundary of Kiwitahi No. 1E Block; thence to and along the said northern boundary to the north-east corner of the said 1E Block; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi Nos. 1E and 1F Blocks, Te Konehu, and Tawawhakaporo Blocks, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence south-westerly along the southern boundary of Tawawhakaporo Block and the south-eastern boundaries of Maungakawa Block, Sections 6s, 76s, and 3s, Te Miro Settlement, and Section 3, Block VI, Cambridge Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence south-easterly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 8, Block X, Cambridge Survey District, Karapiro Settlement; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 8 aforesaid to the Karapiro Stream; thence down the Karapiro Stream to the eastern boundary of the Borough of Cambridge; thence northerly, westerly, and southerly along the boundary of the Borough of Cambridge, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1886, page 985, to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of the Waikato River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the Borough of Hamilton; thence to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of the Borough of Hamilton, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1936, page 1790, to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of the Waikato River to the south-eastern boundary of the Borough of Ngaruawahia; thence along the south-eastern, north-eastern, and northern boundaries of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1921, page 501, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Waikato River; thence down the middle of the Waikato River to the southern boundary of the Borough of Huntly; thence to and along the southern, eastern, and northern boundaries of the Borough of Huntly to the middle of Waikato River; thence generally down the middle of the Waikato River, so as to include within the said boundaries all islands in the said river, to its confluence with the Whangamarino River, the place of commencement.


PIAKO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 1, Tainui Settlement, Block IV, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section and the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hapuakohe Survey District, to the middle of the Mangawhero Road; thence southerly along the middle of that road to the northern boundary of Section 6, Block IV aforesaid; thence along the northern boundary of that section and of Maukoro No. 2B 2 Block to its north-eastern corner; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Maukoro No. 2B 2 Block to the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block V, Waitoa Survey District; thence along the north-western boundaries of Sections 3, 2, and 1, Block V aforesaid, and part of the north-western boundary of part Maukoro Block to the middle of the Ngatea-Waharoa Main Highway; thence to and along the middle of the road forming the north-western boundary of part Maukoro Block aforesaid to the middle of the Piako River; thence down the middle of that river to the northern boundary of Block II, Waitoa Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Blocks II and III, Waitoa Survey District, to the south-western boundary of Te Awati 1J 2B 4 Block; thence along the south-western boundary of that block and of Te Awati 1B 2B 3 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Te Awati 1B 2B 3 Block to the northern boundary of Block III, Waitoa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Blocks III and IV to the middle of the Waihou River; thence up the middle of the Waihou River to the north-western boundary of the Borough of Te Aroha; thence generally southerly, easterly, and northerly along the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the said borough to the intersection of the eastern boundary of Block IX, Aroha Survey District, with a line drawn due west from Te Aroha Trig. Station; thence by a line due east to that trig. station (Te Aroha); thence north-easterly along the confiscation boundary-line and south-easterly along the summit of the range and the western boundary of a forest reserve to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Whakamarama No. 2 Block; thence south-westerly along the northern boundaries of Okauia No. 1 Block; thence down the middle of the Wairere Stream and the Waihou River to a point in line with the production of the north-western boundary-line of Section 27A, Matamata Settlement, in Block X, Wairere Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Section 27 of the aforesaid settlement, and Lots 4, 3, and 2 on D.P. 22602, being part of Turanga-o-Moana Block; thence northwards along the western boundary of Part Lot 8 on D.P. 2843, being part of the aforesaid Turanga-o-Moana Block, and westward along the southern boundaries of Aratiatia, Taramoarahi No. 1, and Matamata North Blocks, to the middle of the Waitoa River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Mangapapa River; thence up the middle of the Mangapapa River to the south-eastern corner of Te Pae-o-tu-Rawaru Block; thence along the southern boundaries of that block to Waikato County hereinbefore described; thence generally northerly along that boundary to the northern-most corner of Section 1, Tainui Settlement, to the point of commencement, and excluding therefrom the Borough of Morrinsville.


FOURTH SCHEDULE

TAMAHHERE RIDING, WAIKATO COUNTY

ALL that area in the Waikato County, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Mangaone and Mangaonua or Tamahere Streams and running north-easterly along the boundary of the Tamahere Parish, to and along the confiscation boundary to the county boundary as described in the Second Schedule; thence southerly generally along the county boundary to the north-eastern corner of part Tahuroa Nos. 2 and 3C as shown on D.P. 24860, along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said part Tahuroa Nos. 2 and 3C, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 72s and 71s, Te Miro Settlement, to the Waitakaruru Stream; thence down that stream to the Ngakauroa Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to the northern boundary of Section 28s, Te Miro Settlement; thence along that boundary and along the western boundaries of 28s and 33s, the north-western boundary of 34s, and the northern and western boundaries of 35s
