Crown Land set apart for Road in Block V, Kanieri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-five.

Revoking Proclamations proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection two of section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamations described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

PROCLAMATION made on the 26th day of October, 1920, and published in the Gazette on the 28th day of October, 1920, at page 2934, and affecting Waipoua 2b No. 3A Section 2 Block, Waipoua Survey District.

Proclamation made on the 19th day of January, 1924, and published in the Gazette on the 24th day of January, 1924, at page 178, and affecting Waipoua 2b No. 3D No. 2b Block, Waipoua Survey District.

Crown Land in Marlborough Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby, set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF BLENHEIM
First, all that area containing 2 roods 25·34 perches, being Allotment 567, Town of Blenheim, being part Section 3, District of Omaka.
Secondly, all that area containing 16·11 perches, being part Allotment 568, Town of Blenheim, being part Section 3, District of Omaka.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 30/228/41A, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington. and thereon coloured yellow and violet respectively. (S.O. 1643/73.)
Thirdly, all that area containing 10·83 perches, being part Section 3, District of Omaka.
As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 30/228/41B, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. (S.O. 3759.)
Fourthly, all that area containing 2 roods 39·5 perches, being Lots 1 and 2, and being portions of Allotments 578, 579, 580, and 581, Town of Blenheim, being part Section 1, District of Omaka.
As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 30/228/41C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered yellow. (S.O. 981.)

Settlement Land in Canterbury Land District proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is settlement land within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and it is deemed expedient that the said land shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, and being part of Section 10, Annan Settlement, situated in Block X, Waiau Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by the Waiau-Kaikoura Road, 795·3 links and 722·8 links, and towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by other part of Section 10, Annan Settlement, 980·7 links, a total of 1841·0 links and 376·8 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/788/5 “A”, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of March, 1945.

Altering Boundaries of Waikato and Piako Counties and including Areas in Tamahere and Cambridge Ridings, Waikato County, and Kiwitahi Riding, Piako County

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section fourteen of the Counties Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Piako County, shall be added to and form part of the Waikato County; that the area described in the Second Schedule hereto, being now part of the Waikato County, shall be added to and form part of the Piako County; that the boundaries of the Waikato and Piako Counties as so altered shall be those set forth under the respective headings in the Third Schedule hereto; that the area added as aforesaid to the Waikato County shall be included in the Tamahere and Cambridge Ridings of the said county; that the boundaries of the said Tamahere and Cambridge Ridings as so altered shall be those set forth in the Fourth Schedule hereto; that the area added as aforesaid to the Piako County shall be included in the Kiwitahi Riding of the said county; that the boundaries of the Kiwitahi Riding as so altered shall be those set forth in the Fifth Schedule hereto; and I also proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-five.
