Pursuant to the Transport Control Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby amend as follows the Schedule to the Warrant constituting Goods Transport Control Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts and appointing Committees therefor, dated the 2nd day of September, 1942, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of September, 1942, as amended by Warrants dated respectively the 25th day of November, 1942, the 15th day of February, 1943, the 31st day of March, 1943, the 8th day of April, 1943, the 20th day of May, 1943, the 24th day of August, 1943, the 28th day of April, 1944, and the 4th day of September, 1944, and published respectively in the New Zealand Gazette on the 26th day of November, 1942, at page 2811, the 11th day of March, 1943, at page 299, the 8th day of April, 1943, at page 432, the 15th day of April, 1943, at page 446, the 27th day of May, 1943, at page 606, the 9th day of September, 1943, at page 1103, the 4th day of May, 1944, at page 432, and the 14th day of September, 1944, at page 1121:-

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.-Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades
Office of the Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 30th November, 1944.
Pursuant to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial and Commercial Grades are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. per loose bushel.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st December to 31st December, 1944:-

Radio Corporation of New Zealand, Limited, Employees' Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1944
In pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows :-
- This Order may be cited as the "Radio Corporation of New Zealand, Limited, Employees' Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1944."
- This Order shall apply to the Radio Corporation of New Zealand, Limited, and to the workers employed by that company whose employment is subject to the provisions of the New Zealand Metal Trades' Employees' award, dated the 30th day of June, 1941, and recorded in 41 Book of Awards 655, or of the Wellington Industrial District Radio Workers' award, dated the 15th day of February, 1940, and recorded in 40 Book of Awards 70.
- The provisions of the Factories Act, 1921-22, and its amendments, and of the said awards, are hereby suspended in so far as any such provisions operate to prevent the workers referred to in clause 2 hereof from being employed on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.
- Female and male workers may be employed on Monday to Friday (both days inclusive) of each week, shifts of eight hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., inclusive of one hour for midday meal, and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday at the rate of time and a half.
- Females over the age of eighteen years, and males over the age of eighteen years, may be employed on Monday to Friday (both days inclusive) of each week, shifts of eight hours from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., inclusive of one hour for a meal, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the rate of double time. Workers on the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift shall be paid a shift-allowance of 10s. a week.
- Satisfactory arrangements shall be made for the transport to their homes of female workers employed on the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift.
- This Order shall come into effect on the day of the date hereof, and shall continue in force until the 31st day of January, 1945.

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.-Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
Whereas an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman :
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 8th day of November, 1944, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court :
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty's Forces or in any British ship :
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 1st day of June, 1945, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, containing ninety-seven (97) acres two (2) roods and eight (8) perches, more or less, being Section 58, Mangateparu Settlement, being originally part Mangateparu Block, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 734, folio 127 (Auckland Registry).
