Land taken for a Police-station in Block VI, Ongo Survey District, Town District of Hunterville.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 0·27 perches. Being part Section 30, Hunterville Village Settlement.

Situated in Block VI, Ongo Survey District. (S.O. 21197.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120287, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of November, 1944.

Revoking a Proclamation taking a Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 83 of the twelfth day of the same month, at page 1214, taking a leasehold estate or interest in land for buildings of the General Government in the Borough of New Plymouth.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of November, 1944.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 1 rood 8·5 perches.

Being part Rural Section 141 (City of Christchurch) (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7563.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120215, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
