A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1942, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 30·4 perches. Adjoining road adjoining part Section 2.
Situated in Block XV, Kaitarau Survey District (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. 3791.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120203, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of October, 1944.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1924.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38·7 perches, more or less, and being part of Lots 84 and 85, D.P. 164, being part Rural Section 4311, situated in the Borough of Waimate, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 312, folio 25 (Canterbury Registry).
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, and being part Lot 1, D.P. 7050, comprising part of Rural Section 94, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 357, folio 270 (Canterbury Registry).
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/1107/9A and B respectively, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 22, Block VII, Whareorino Survey District: Area, 517 acres and 14 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 31394s.) Also Sections 18 and 25, Block VII, Whareorino Survey District: Area, 112 acres and 8 perches, more or less. (S.O. plan 31184.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of October, 1944.

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the North Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Karamuramu No. 1 and Kaitara 3B No. 1 Blocks, Block V, Otamatea Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/401, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of September, 1944.
