Land taken for Waterworks in Block VIII, Waimea Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 39 acres 3 roods 20 perches.
Being part Section 6.

Situated in Block VIII, Waimea Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9353.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120129, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of October, 1944.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 1Β·5 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 1500, being part Section 47, Hutt District.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 21138.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119578, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of October, 1944.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public school; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 acre 0 roods 35Β·4 perches.
Being portion of Whareongaonga C 12 No. 4B Block.

Situated in Block I, Paritu Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1513, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 96691, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of October, 1944.
