IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Chairman of the Thames County Council, ex officio,
The Mayor of Thames, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Hauraki Plains County Council, ex officio,
Edward Joseph McLoughlin,
John William Neate, and
John Galloway

to be the Waiomio Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday,
the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the County
Chambers, Mary Street, Thames, as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

WAIOMIO DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
LOTS 1 and 8 on D.P. No. 25599 (Town of Thames Extension No. 17),
and Lot 9 on D.P. 25599, being portion of Waiomu No. 2B No. 1E
Block, situated in Block XIV, Hastings Survey District, and being
all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 678, folio 273
(Auckland Registry): Area, 7 acres 2 roods 31·5 perches, more or
less.

Also Waiomu No. 2B 1C 1B Block, situated in Block XIV,
Hastings Survey District, and being all the land comprised in

National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Edith Maude Scorgie,
Donald Osmond Scorgie,
Ruby Beveridge,
Wilfred Charles Carson, and
Archibald Lourie

to be the Puhinui Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Monday, the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-four, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as
the time when, and the residence of Mrs. R. Beveridge,
Grey Avenue, Puhinui, as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

PUHINUI DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Manukau County, situated in Block X,
Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres
and 8·1 perches, more or less, being Lots 320 and 350, D.P.
18037, and being portion of Clendon's Grant. As the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1/1063A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Thomas Gow Clark,
John Stephen Dunn,
Lawrence Carlton Hair,
Charles Ernest Hawkins,
James George McKay, and
Norman Sanford

to be the Wainui-o-Mata Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Wainui-o-Mata Hall, as the place where, the first meeting
of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

WAINUI-O-MATA DOMAIN.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less,
being Lot 31, D.P. 12180, being part of closed road and parts of
Sections 1, 2, 26, and 79, Wainui-o-Mata District, Blocks XVI and
XVII, Belmont Survey District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 11 acres
2 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Lot 122, D.P. 12424, being
part of Section 8, Lowry Bay District, and part of Section 1,
Wainui-o-Mata District, Blocks XVI and XVII, Belmont Survey
District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood
14 perches, more or less, being Lot 85, D.P. 12752, being parts of
Sections 1 and 3, Wainui-o-Mata District, Block XVI, Belmont
Survey District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1/1122, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserves in Wellington Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
October, 1944
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for
recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation
of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the
said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the
Wainui-o-Mata Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt
with as a public domain.
