Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of New Plymouth

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth by Augustine Henry Hart, of New Plymouth, Fancy-goods Dealer, under and by virtue of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth under Number 13606, is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate or interest is taken: 22·46 perches.
Being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 1282, part Section 2335, Town of New Plymouth (Borough of New Plymouth) (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 8046.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 120128, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1944.

Additional Land taken for a Police-station in Pleasant Point Town District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land taken: 1 rood 0·3 perches.
Being Lot 53, D.P. 125, part Rural Section 3274 (Pleasant Point Town District).
Situated in Block IV, Pareora Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7554.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 119626, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1944.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 1 acre 3 roods 26 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 7, N.R.
Situated in Block VII, Wakapuaka Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9297.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116540, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1944.
