Land taken for a Surfaccman’s Cottage in Block III, Tokata Survey District, and Block I, Waiawa Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a surfaceman’s cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

SCHEDULE

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1944.

Easements over Land taken for the Development of Water Power (Hangatiki Substation) in Block XII, Orahiri Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that easements are hereby taken for the development of water power (Hangatiki Substation) over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to take water from a spring on the said land, and to construct, use, and maintain a reservoir on or under the said land for the storage of such water, and also the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, place, and maintain water-pipes along, under, or over the said land, and to convey water from the said reservoir through the said pipes to the boundary of the said land, and that easements are also hereby taken for the said public work over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King the full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, place, and maintain water-pipes along, under, or over the said land, and to convey water from the said reservoir through the said pipes, such easements over the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be held appurtenant to the land taken by Proclamations numbered 6436 and 10909, Auckland Registry, for the said public work; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.
