Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Taking of Fish for Sale

A. L. Arnesen, Winchester Street, Lyttelton, has applied for a variation of his existing industrial fishing license in respect of the fishing-vessel “Konene,” LN. 240, so as to permit him to operate a new 50 ft. 80 h.p. engined vessel (yet to be built), using trawl-nets, catches to be landed at Lyttelton.

Pharmacy Industry

L. J. Dale, 487 Papanui Road, Christchurch, has applied for permission to open a new pharmacy at the corner of Main North Road (No. 717) and Johns Road, Belfast.

Fish Retailing

C. H. Turner, 8 Dilworth Street, Riccarton, Christchurch, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit him to sell wet and cooked fish from shop premises situated at 82 Riccarton Road.

Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 31st August, 1944, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
