Including Additional Land in the Hokianga Development Scheme
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Hokianga Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, containing 11 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more of less, situate in Block XI, Whangape Survey District, called or known as Pakinga C 2, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 388, folio 45 (Auckland Registry).

CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Town Land in Canterbury Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, 6th June, 1944.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 10th July, 1944.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, on Tuesday, 11th July, 1944, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, weighting for improvements, and lease fee.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND Timaru Borough
PART Reserve 104 A and B: Area, 2 roods. Capital value, £800; half-yearly rent, £20.
Weighted with £620 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising the old Timaru Drill Hall.
This area is situated in the Timaru Borough: Block A is situated on the corner of South High Street and Mill Street, while Block B has a frontage to Mill Street.
The buildings on the areas comprise the old Drill Hall on Block A valued at £620. This building rests on concrete foundations, with concrete pillars, and has a floor space of approximately 132 ft. by 96 ft.
The building on Block B is the property of the Miniature Rifle Club and, if not disposed of to the successful purchaser of the section, the club has three months from date of sale within which to remove this building.
