Chemical-manufacturer, was adjudged bankrupt on 30th May,

Building, Durham Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, 13th June,
1944, at 10.30 a.m.

Notice of Reduction of Capital
NOTICE is hereby given that an order was made by the Supreme
Court of New Zealand at Wellington on the 26th day of
May, 1944, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above
company from £15,000 to £10,000 and approving the following
minute to be registered at the office of the Registrar of Companies
at Wellington :

“The capital of J. L. Lennard, Limited, henceforth is £10,000
divided into 30,000 ordinary shares of 6s. 8d. each, instead of the
former capital of £15,000 divided into 5,000 preference shares of
£1 each and 30,000 ordinary shares of 6s. 8d. each. At the time of
registration of this minute the sum of 6s. 8d. has been and is deemed
paid up on each of the said ordinary shares.”

PURSUANT to section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I hereby give
notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of
Levin taken on the 27th day of May, 1944, on the proposal that the
system of rating in the said borough be on the unimproved value,
the number of votes recorded was as follows :—

the company are to prove their debts or claims. Creditors failing to
prove such debts or claims may be excluded from the benefit of any
distribution.
