Notice of Intention to take Land for Public Works

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, in terms of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto for public works: And notice is hereby further given that the respective plans of the land so proposed to be taken are deposited in the post-offices as set out in such Schedules and are there open for inspection; and that any person affected by the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objection to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the 25th day of April, 1944, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

The Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941, Variation No. 16

IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941, Variation No. 16.

  2. This Order shall be read together with and deemed part of the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”).

  3. The principal Order is varied as follows—namely, the provisions of the principal Order shall not apply to the workers coming within the scope of the awards and agreements specified in the following Schedule, namely:—
