Boundaries of Borough of Huntly and County of Waikato altered

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 19th day of April, 1944
Present :
THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-seven of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area be excluded from the County of Waikato and included in the Borough of Huntly :
And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended that the said area be excluded from the County of Waikato and included in the Borough of Huntly :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alteration of boundaries recommended by the said Commission :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the County of Waikato and included in the Borough of Huntly.
SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WAIKATO AND INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF HUNTLY
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, in the County of Waikato, Blocks XII and XVI, Rangiriri Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Allotment 9, Taupiri Parish, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Huntly ; thence along the generally western side of Russell’s Road to its junction with Kimihia Road at the southernmost corner of Lot 14 on D.P. 23533 ; thence by a right line southerly across the last-mentioned road, Allotment 306, Taupiri Parish, Hakanoa Lake, and a foreshore reserve, being portion of Allotment 463, Taupiri Parish, to the easternmost corner of Lot 7, on D.P. 22910, of a subdivision of Lots 18 and 19 of Allotment 463, Taupiri Parish; thence by a right line south-easterly across the said Lot 19 and across Starrtown Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 42 on D.P. 23986; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 42 ; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 42 and part Lot 43 ; thence north-westerly along the boundary of the said Lot 43 to the easternmost corner of part Lot 45, D.P. 23986 ; thence generally southerly along the eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 45 and the northern portion of Lot 64 on the said Plan 22910, to and across a road reserve, being part Allotment 463, Taupiri Parish; thence south-westerly and westerly by the boundary of the said road reserve to the Huntly Borough boundary ; and thence northerly generally by the said borough boundary to the point of commencement.

The Sales of Pork Restriction Order 1943, Amendment No. 4
PURSUANT to the Foodstuffs Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Food Controller hereby orders and directs as follows :—
- This order may be cited as the Sales of Pork Restriction Order 1943, Amendment No. 4, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Sales of Pork Restriction Order 1943† (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order").
- Clause 3 of the principal Order is hereby amended by omitting the words "31st day of March, 1944", and substituting the words "30th day of September, 1944".
- The Sales of Pork Restriction Order 1943, Amendment No. 3‡, is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Rationing Emergency Regulations 1942, I, James Ewing Thomas, Rationing Controller, hereby give notice as follows :—
- This notice may be cited as the Foodstuffs Rationing Coupon Notice 1944.
- Tea coupons of the numbers specified in the first column hereunder shall be available for the supply of a total of 8 oz. of tea in the respective periods of four weeks specified in the second column hereunder :—
