SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY

ALL those areas in the Wellington Land District, Horowhenua County, containing by admeasurement 902 acres 2 roods 39 perches, more or less, situated in Block VII, Waiopehu Survey District, and described as follows:—

All that area containing by admeasurement 798 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being part of Subdivision 3E No. 5, Horowhenua Block, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Subdivisions 3D No. 5 and 3D No. 6, Horowhenua Block; towards the south-east by Subdivision No. 8, Horowhenua Block, Section 1, Block VII, Waiopehu Survey District, and permanent State forest (Gazette, 1904, page 1920); towards the south-west by Subdivision 3E No. 5A, Horowhenua Block, and towards the north-west by Subdivision 3E No. 4, Horowhenua Block, and Section 2, Block VII aforesaid.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 103 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Subdivision No. 7A, Horowhenua Block.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 85/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1944.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.


SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, containing by admeasurement 619 acres 0 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Section 2, Block I, and Section 2, Block II, Kaingaroa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 47/45, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of April, 1944.

Crown Land set apart as Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.


SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 31 perches, more or less, being Section 10, Block I, Rotoma Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 31/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland S.O. plan 31898.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of April, 1944.

Reapportioning Representation on the Bay of Islands Electric-power Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1944

Present:

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that on and after the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the Bay of Islands Electric-power District the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Bay of Islands Electric-power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district, and doth further determine that the first election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the Counties of Whangaroa and Hokianga shall be held on the date of the said next general election.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1944

Present:

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that on and after the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the North Auckland Electric-power District the number of representatives of each constituent district on the North Auckland Electric-power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district, and doth further determine that the constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted a combined district for the purposes of the said Act, and that the local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authority of such combined district.
