representatives of the constituent districts of the Waitemata Electric-power District all previous Orders in Council apportioning representation on the Waitemata Electric-power Board, and doth hereby determine in lieu thereof that on and after the said date the number of representatives of each constituent district on the said Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district; and doth further determine that the constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted combined districts for the purposes of the said Act, and that the local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authority of each such combined district.

Wairarapa Catchment Board.—First Election

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1944
Present:
THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, as the date on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Wairarapa Catchment District, being a catchment district duly constituted by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 23 of the twenty-third day of the same month.

The Southern Side of Portion of Budge Street, in the Borough of Blenheim, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Blenheim Borough Council on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, viz. :

“The Blenheim Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the Borough of Blenheim, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of Budge Street adjoining Lots 19 and 19A of Section 50, Omaka, Borough of Blenheim, and contained in the Certificate of Title, Volume 35, folio 172”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

The southern side of all that portion of street in the Marlborough Land District, Borough of Blenheim, known as Budge Street, fronting parts of Lots 19 and 19A of Section 50, Omaka. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118906, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Western Side of Portion of an Unnamed Public Road, in County of Bruce, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Bruce County Council on the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, the side and portion of road affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

“The Bruce County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Bruce, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the portion of public road abutting on part Section 6, Block XII, North Molyneux Survey District”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of portion of the unnamed public road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE

The western side of all that portion of public road situated in the Otago Land District, County of Bruce, fronting part Section 6, Block XII, North Molyneux District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118780, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Officer authorized to take and receive Statutory Declarations

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that Cecil Berriman Robson, being an officer in the service of the Crown holding the office of Chief Clerk, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, at Wellington, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 9th day of April, 1944.
