Revoking Part of a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District—viz., Portion of the Western Hutt Road

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 66 of the eighth day of same month at page 1984, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2733, defining the middle-line of a road in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District—viz., portion of the Western Hutt Road—in so far as it affects part Section 28, Hutt District, part land in D.P. 5732, comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 290, folio 111 (Wellington Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1944.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land for the Purposes of Pumice-pits in Block IX, Tatua Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64 of the first day of September of the same year, at page 1930, setting apart Crown land for the purposes of pumice-pits, in so far as it affects the area of 1 rood 20 perches firstly described in the Schedule thereto as part Oruanui No. 6 Block.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of March, 1944.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Marlborough Land District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND
SECTION 25 and part Section 24, Block XI, Puhipuhi Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 17.9 perches, more or less. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2727B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon hatched blue.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 48 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, being the portions of Reserve A (Waipapa), more particularly described as follows:
Firstly, all that part of Section 22, Block XI, Puhipuhi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, bounded towards the north-west generally by the South Island Main Trunk Railway; towards the east by part Section 20, Block XI aforesaid, and towards the south generally by a public road.
Secondly, all that part of Section 23, Block XI, Puhipuhi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 28 acres 3 roods 6 perches, more or less, bounded towards the north-east generally by part Section 17, Block XI, Puhipuhi Survey District; towards the south-east and south by the South Island Main Trunk Railway, and towards the west generally by a public road: save and excepting an intersecting public road, one chain wide.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2727A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 3721 (Blenheim).)
Settlement Land in Wellington Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land acquired under the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1900, shall be, and the same is hereby, set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—CITY OF LOWER HUTT
SECTION 16s, Waddington Settlement, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District: Area, 7 acres 3 roods 36 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the parts of New Zealand described in the Schedule hereto a catchment district under the said Act as from this twenty-second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and doth hereby assign to such catchment district the name of the “Wairarapa Catchment District.”
