That portion of County of Mauriceville, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of Manawatu Catchment District (New Zealand Gazette, 1943, page 973) at the south-western corner of Section 6, Block XIV, Tararua Survey District; thence proceeding easterly generally along the southern boundary of Manawatu Catchment District aforesaid to the southernmost corner of Section 16, Block IV, Kopuaranga Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of County of Mauriceville (New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 2515) to the point of commencement.
That portion of County of Eketahuna, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of County of Eketahuna (New Zealand Gazette, 1932, page 1244), being the south-western corner of Section 164, Whareama Block, situated in Block XV, Puketoi Survey District; thence proceeding south-westerly and westerly generally along the southern boundary of County of Eketahuna aforesaid to its intersection with the southern boundary of Manawatu Catchment District (New Zealand Gazette, 1943, page 973) at the south-eastern corner of Lot 7 on D.P. 1331, being part Section 210, Rangitumau Block, situated in Block XIII, Puketoi Survey District; thence north-easterly and easterly generally along the southern boundary of Manawatu Catchment District aforesaid to the point of commencement.
That portion of County of Castlepoint, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of County of Castlepoint (New Zealand Gazette, 1925, page 717) at its intersection with the southern side of Annedale-Taniwha Road in Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly and north-easterly generally along the said Annedale-Taniwha Road to its intersection with the northern boundary of Lot 3 on D.P. 5631, being part Section 820, Whareama Block, situated in Block XIII, Aohanga Survey District; thence south-easterly along right lines through Taniwha Trigonometrical Station to Mangahoeka Trigonometrical Station; thence along a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 3, Mataikona Settlement; thence again south-easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Sections 3, 4, and 5, Mataikona Settlement, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the sea; and thence southerly, westerly, and northerly generally along the boundary of County of Castlepoint to the point of commencement.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 118921, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered sepia.

Declaring the Number of Members and apportioning Representation on the Wairarapa Catchment Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1944
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the Wairarapa Catchment Board shall consist of ten elective members and five non-elective members, and that the number of such elective members to be representative of each separate constituent district or combined district within the catchment district on the said Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of the constituent district or group of names of constituent districts comprising a combined district; and doth further declare that each group of constituent districts the names of which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto is hereby constituted a combined district for the purposes of the said Act, and that the principal local authority of each such combined district shall be the local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P).”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, as the date on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Hawke’s Bay Catchment District, being a catchment district duly constituted by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 86 of the thirtieth day of the same month.
