Excluding Land from the Kaipara Development Scheme
P
URSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 26th day of November, 1937, and published in Gazette No. 78 of the 2nd day of December of the same year at page 2636, whereby the said land was, inter alia, declared to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, and such land is hereby excluded from the Kaipara Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, situate in Block IX, Maungaru Survey District, containing 4 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less, and called or known as Ounuwhao IBIAI.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Taking of Fish for Sale
S. Bensley, Sawyer's Bay, Dunedin, has applied for a variation in the conditions of his industrial fishing license so as to permit him to operate his 33 ft. fishing-launch “I'm Alone” (not yet registered), using drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Port Chalmers.
G. E. Ferguson, 19 Wrights Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his fishing-vessel “Wai Worry” (not yet registered), using set-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Auckland.
H. L. Daveney and W. H. Frearson, Moturoa, via Russell, have applied for licenses to permit them to operate the fishing-vessel “Kelvin” (not yet registered), using long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be freighted to Auckland.
Fish Retailing
S. Yelavich, Awanui, has applied for a fish-retailer's license to permit him to sell wet and cooked fish from his shop premises in the Township of Awanui.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Vivian Slippers, Ltd., Wellington, have applied for an extension of their existing license so as to permit the manufacture of children’s shoes from 7 to 9.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 30th March, 1944, to G. L. O'Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

The Medical Supplies Notice 1944, No. 1
PURSUANT to the Medical Supplies Emergency Regulations 1939, I, Michael Herbert Watt, Medical Supplies Controller, do hereby give notice as under:

This notice may be cited as the Medical Supplies Notice 1944, No. 1.

(1) The Medical Supplies Notice 1942* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said notice shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the date of this notice. -
(1) No owner or person in possession of supplies of any of the drugs named in the Schedule hereto shall use, dispose of, part with the possession or control of, or otherwise deal with the said drugs except in accordance with the following directions:
(a) The drugs shall not be sold by wholesale to any person except registered medical practitioners, registered dentists, registered veterinary surgeons, veterinary practitioners, and registered pharmaceutical chemists;
(b) The drugs shall not be sold by retail except pursuant to a prescription signed by a registered medical practitioner, a registered dentist, a registered veterinary surgeon, or a veterinary practitioner.
(2) For the purpose of this clause the expression “veterinary practitioner” means a person whose name has been lodged with the Minister of Agriculture pursuant to section 14 (2) of the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1926.
SCHEDULE
PARA-AMINO BENZENESULPHONAMIDE; its salts; derivatives of para-aminobenzenesulphonamide having another radical or radicals substituted for one or both of the hydrogen atoms of the para-amino group or of the sulphonamide group or of both of these groups; their salts.

NOTICE is hereby given that the date of closing of tenders for the above sale of timber as advertised in the New Zealand Gazette dated the 2nd March, 1944, at page 223, is extended to the 24th April in lieu of the 24th instant.

BANKRUPTCY NOTICE
In Bankruptcy
In the matter of the Estate of ARNOLD BINNEY BARTER, of Owens Road, Epsom, Auckland (deceased), and in the matter of the Administration Act, 1908, Part IV.
NOTICE is hereby given that by order of the Supreme Court dated 3rd March, 1944, it was ordered that the estate of the above-named deceased be administered under the provisions of the Administration Act, 1908, Part IV, by the administrator, Horace Arthur Moore, of Auckland, Public Accountant.
A meeting of creditors in the estate will be held at the office of the administrator, 25 His Majesty's Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, 15th March, 1944, at 2.45 in the afternoon.
All persons having claims against the said deceased are requested to lodge same with the administrator in duplicate together with proof of debt not later than 3rd May, 1944.
