Waitemata Fisheries, Ltd., Market Place, Auckland, has applied for a variation in the conditions of its industrial fishing license to permit it to operate the fishing-vessel "Hauraki," AK. 46, on the Kaipara Harbour, using set-nets, drag-nets, and long lines, catches to be landed at Helensville for supply to Auckland.
Fish Retailing
C. B. King, 153 Dee Street, Invercargill, has applied for a fish-retailer's license to enable him to sell wet and cooked fish from his premises at above address.
Nelson Fisheries and Cool Storage, Ltd., Trafalgar Street, Nelson, has applied for a variation in the conditions of its fish-retailer's license to permit it to hawk fish for sale in the following areas: Wakapuaka, from the Nelson boundary extending to the foot of the Wangamoa Hill; that portion of the Nelson district outside Nelson City extending on the west to the foot of the Moutere Hill and south to the foot of Spooner's Range.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
The Vita Shoe Co., Ltd., 85 Stanley Street, Auckland, has applied for an extension of its existing license to manufacture children's pre-welt shoes, sizes 3 to 9, so as to permit the manufacture of sizes 10 to 1Β½.
Daisley's Ltd., 368 Mount Albert Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland, has applied for an extension of its existing license to permit it to manufacture men's and women's sports shoes by the Veldtschoen process.
Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than the 27th January, 1944, to G. L. O'Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
