IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Prince Edward Park Domain.


FIRST SCHEDULE

PAHUREHURE DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing 2 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2, Village of Papakura, bounded to the north-west by Queen Street, 400 links; towards the north-east by Wood Street, 700 links; towards the south-east by Elliott Street, 400 links; and towards the south-west by Green Street, 700 links, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also all that area containing 2 acres, more or less, being part Allotment 12, Section 12, Village of Papakura, being the whole of the land on D.P. No. 20572, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 510, folio 204 (Auckland Registry).

SECOND SCHEDULE

PRINCE EDWARD PARK DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that area containing 7 acres and 4 perches, more or less, being Lots 15 to 32 inclusive, parts Lots 33, 39 to 45 inclusive, and 77 of Section 3, Village of Papakura, being the whole of the land on D.P. No. 15513, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 346, folio 290 (Auckland Registry).

Also Allotment 5 of Section 12, Village of Papakura: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less.

Also Allotment 208 of Section 11, Village of Papakura: Area, 12 acres and 4 perches, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Ross Borough Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of October, 1943

Present:

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for cemetery purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ross:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ross, in trust, for cemetery purposes.

RESERVE 249, Block II, Totara Survey District; Area, 7 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less.

Setting apart Native Land as a Native Reservation

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of October, 1943

Present:

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Native reservation for the common use of the owners thereof as a burial-ground.


SCHEDULE

THE parcel of land containing an area of 5 acres 0 roods 24 perches, more or less, situate in Block X, Tiffin Survey District, and known as Taratahi 391c No. 1A, and being the land comprised in a partition order made by the Native Land Court on the 24th day of August, 1912.
