Any five members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Waihola and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time be determined by the Board; provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitaki:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitaki, in trust, for plantation purposes.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, viz.:
“ That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the eastern side of the portion of Morrison Street adjoining Lots 7 and 8 and part Lot 9, Deeds Plan 156, Block VI, Township of Caversham Extension, such land being comprised and described in Certificate of Title 280/9 Ltd.”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Morrison Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Morrison Street, fronting Allotments 7 and 8 and part Lot 9, Block II, Deeds Plan 156, and being part Section 21, Block VI, Town District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117674, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
