Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a rifle range to a reserve for plantation purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 2864, Borough of Geraldine (formerly part Section 10, Town of Geraldine, Suburban Lands): Area, 2 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a technical school:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for railway purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a technical school to a reserve for railway purposes.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 658, Town of Picton, and being all the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 17, folio 282. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/37, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a post-office or other public purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public-school site:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a post-office or other public purposes to a reserve for a public-school site.

ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, Town District of Putaruru, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 32·4 perches and 1 rood 27·7 perches, more or less, and being respectively Section 16, Block VI, Patetere North Survey District, and Lot 56 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 18021, and being part Section 97, Block VI, Patetere North Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/811, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington and thereon edged red and blue respectively. And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for access purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for plantation purposes to a reserve for access purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the City of Auckland situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 14·46 perches, more or less, being part of a plantation reserve on D.P. 19138, and being part Allotment 32, District of Tamaki, bounded as follows: Towards the west by Lots 100, 99, 98, and 97, D.P. 19138, 397·24 links; towards the north by Lot 89, D.P. 20244, 22·75 links; towards the east by other part of the plantation reserve and Lot 101 on D.P. 19138, 22·72 and 374·52 links; and towards the south by Ronaki Road, 22·72 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/980D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Waihola Public Hall Board

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act), in the undermentioned persons, namely,—
David Arthur Sinclair,
Archibald Hislop Sinclair,
James Smolenski,
Frederick William Beccard,
Geoffrey Ferryly Galloway,
Robert Jeffrey Hall,
David Bungard, and
Joseph Choak
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Waihola Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—
- The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the first Friday in each month at eight o’clock p.m., at the Waihola Public Hall, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
- The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.
- Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days’ notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.
