(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for amending this scheme.
(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(6) Deliveries of milk under contract to schools and establishments of the Armed Forces are excluded from this scheme.
(7) The following proprietors of dairies are permitted to deliver milk to their own dairies at the addresses herein described:—

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades

Wellington, 1st September, 1943.
Pursuant to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial Grade and Commercial Grade are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. loose bushel.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Amendment of Declaration of Essential Industry No. 57
In pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend Declaration of Essential Industry No. 57 by deleting therefrom the words—
“all building and construction works being defence works within the meaning of the Building Emergency Regulations, 1939,”
and by substituting therefor the words—
“all undertakings which for the time being are certified by the Building Controller as being works to which the Essential Building Works Labour Legislation Modification Order 1943 applies.”

Notice calling up Reservists for Service with the Armed Forces
National Service Department,
Wellington, 9th September, 1943.
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by Regulation 44 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I have, on the 9th September, 1943, issued to—
John Scott, Cabinetmaker, 83 Shortland Street, Auckland, Registration No. 646128, and
Roy McDermott, Truck-driver, Anzac Parade, Putiki, Wanganui, Registration No. 644019,
notices calling them up for service with the Armed Forces, such persons having been severally convicted for that, being reservists belonging to a division of the Reserve the enrolment of which has been proclaimed, they did fail to make application in writing for enrolment in that class of the Reserve as required by Regulation 43 (1) of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.

The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report
I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purpose of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.
