Amendment No. 6 of the Warrant constituting Goods Transport Control Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts and appointing Committees therefor
P URSUANT to the Transport Control Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby amend as follows the Schedule to the Warrant constituting Goods Transport Control Districts and Taxi-cab Control Districts and appointing Committees therefor, dated the 2nd day of September, 1942, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of September, 1942, at page 2173, as amended by Warrants dated respectively the 25th day of November, 1942, the 15th day of February, 1943, the 31st day of March, 1943, the 8th day of April, 1943, and the 20th day of May, 1943, and published respectively in the New Zealand Gazette on the 26th day of November, 1942, at page 2811, the 11th day of March, 1943, at page 299, the 8th day of April, 1943, at page 432, the 15th day of April, 1943, at page 446, and the 27th day of May, 1943, at page 606 :-
(1) Akaroa Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Akaroa Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): S. J. Vogun, of Duvauchelle.
(2) Auckland Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Auckland Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): D. R. Williams, Engineer, Public Works Department, Auckland.
(3) Balclutha Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Balclutha Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): D. H. McElrea, of Moneymore R.D., Milton.
(4) Central Otago Goods Transport Control Committee.-By revoking in the Central Otago Goods Transport Control Committee the appointment under paragraph (a) of A. M. Cairns, and by substituting therefor the appointment of J. S. Sawyers, Stationmaster, Alexandra.
(5) Central Taranaki Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Central Taranaki Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): L. C. Harrison, Climie Road, Ngaere, Stratford.
(6) Dunedin Goods Transport Control Committee.-By revoking in the Dunedin Goods Transport Control Committee the appointment under paragraph (a) of W. W. Watt and by substituting therefor the appointment of F. Gray, Abbotsford.
(7) Gisborne Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Gisborne Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): W. Veitch, 219 Whittaker Street, Gisborne, Farmer.
(8) Greymouth Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Greymouth Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): T. Bowes, Secretary of the Runanga Co-operative Society, Ltd., Greymouth.
(9) Levin Goods Transport Control Committee.-By adding to the Levin Goods Transport Control Committee the following additional member under paragraph (a): G. A. Martin, Farmer, Manukau, Levin.

(18) Gisborne Taxi-cab Control Committee.-By revoking in the Gisborne Taxi-cab Control Committee the appointment of H. B. Gardner, and by adding thereto the following member: J. E. Richards, 162 Disraeli Street, Gisborne.
(19) Rotorua Taxi-cab Control Committee.-By revoking in the Rotorua Taxi-cab Control Committee the appointment of R. F. Lee, and by adding thereto the following member: A. M. Pallister, Rotorua.
(20) Timaru Taxi-cab Control Committee.-By revoking in the Timaru Taxi-cab Control Committee the appointment of T. H. Templeton, and by adding thereto the following member: Mr. Fraser, Director, Timaru Gold Band Taxis, Ltd., Timaru.
(21) Wanganui Taxi-cab Control Committee.-By adding to the Wanganui Taxi-cab Control Committee the following additional member: J. W. Storey, 10 Carlton Avenue, Wanganui.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940
P URSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to Raymond Robert Gallon, of Matarawa, Carterton.

The Ashburton Milk Delivery Notice 1943
P URSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :-

1. This notice may be cited as the Ashburton Milk Delivery Notice 1943.
2. This notice shall come into force on the Monday following publication thereof in the Gazette.
3. The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the said district.
   SCHEDULE
   THE ASHBURTON MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1943
   (1) FOR the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,-
   "The district" means the Borough of Ashburton as indicated by zones marked on the plan:
   "The plan" means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. TT. 1394:
   "Minister" means the Minister of Transport:
   "Zone" means a zone of the district marked on the said plan.
   (2) For the purposes of assisting in the administration of this scheme there shall be a committee, which shall consist of the following members:-
   (a) Two members to be appointed by the Ashburton Borough Council:
   (b) One member to be appointed by the parties to this scheme:
   (c) The Controller of Oil Fuel, Ashburton.
   (3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee, the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
