The Pukekohe Milk Delivery Notice 1943

PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Pukekohe Milk Delivery Notice 1943.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the said district:

SCHEDULE

THE PUKEKOHE MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1943

(1) For the purposes of the scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—

“ The district ” means the Borough of Pukekohe :
“ The plan ” means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. TT. 3406 :
“ Zone ” means a zone of the district marked as an area on the said plan.

(2) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk or cream are as follows :—

Authorizing the Laying-off of Roads of Less Width than 66 ft.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister or Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Oneroa Extension No. 45 (Plan No. 2997), affecting part Lot 2, D.P. 14364, being part of Allotment 189, Parish of Takapuna, situated in Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, North Auckland Land District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Gray Crescent shown thereon should be of the width of 66 ft. :

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power him thereunto enabling, the Minister of Lands doth hereby authorize the laying-off of Gray Crescent of a width of not less than 50 ft. : Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.

Eltham Abattoir District extended.—(Notice No. Ag. 4028)

Office of the Minister of Agriculture,
Wellington, 12th August, 1943.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Meat Act, 1939, and on the application by Messrs. J. C. Hutton (N.Z.), Ltd., the controlling company for the Eltham Abattoir District comprising the Borough of Eltham under deed of delegation of powers from the Corporation of the said borough, dated the 16th day of October, 1931, the Minister of Agriculture doth hereby declare that all that part of the County of Eltham defined in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby included in the said abattoir district, and that the said company shall be the controlling authority of the abattoir for the said abattoir district as hereby extended.

SCHEDULE

All that part of the County of Eltham commencing at the south-west corner of Section 26, Block VIII, Kaupokonui Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 26 and the southern boundary of Section 27, Block VIII aforesaid, to the western side of Hastings Road; thence north-westerly along the said side of Hastings Road to a point in line with the north side of Finnerty Road; thence easterly to and along the north side of Finnerty Road to the Waingongoro River; thence south-easterly along the south-western bank of the said river to a point in line with the north side of Cornwall Road; thence easterly in that line and along the said side of Cornwall Road to the Mountain Road; thence by a right line to the south-west corner of Section 42, Block VI, Ngaere Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Sections 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, and 48, Block VI aforesaid, to a public drain reserve; thence north-easterly along the south-east boundary of the said Section 48 to a point in line with the northern side of Korepo Road; thence south-easterly in that line to and along the said side of Korepo Road to the southernmost corner of Section 32, Block XI, Ngaere Survey District; thence north-easterly along the south-east boundary of the said Section 32 to, and in the same line, across the Ngaere Road; thence south-easterly along the northern side of the said road to, and in the same line, across the Oru Road; thence southerly and easterly along the east side of Oru Road and the northern side of Rawhitiroa Road to the Maata Road; thence by a right line due east to the east side of Maata Road; thence generally south-westerly and north-westerly along the eastern and southern sides of Maata and Mangawhero Roads to the Campbell Road; thence generally southerly along the eastern side of the Campbell Road to a point in line with the south side of Rotokare Road; thence in the same line to the said roadside and generally westerly and north-westerly along the south and south-west sides of Rotokare Road to the Mountain Road; thence south-easterly along the east side of Mountain Road to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Boylan Road; thence south-westerly to and along the south-east side of Boylan Road to a point in line with the southern side of Skeet Road; thence north-westerly to and along the southern side of Skeet Road to the west side of Duthie Road; thence northerly along the west side of Duthie Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 26, Block VIII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence easterly in that line to the south-west corner of the said Section 26, the point of commencement.

Notice of Intention to take Land for a Public Work

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work : And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Grey Lynn and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the 23rd day of August, 1943, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
