(7) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(8) Subject to the provisions of clause (9) hereof:—

Meat may be delivered in the district by any vendor to any person, whether or not that person is a wholesale purchaser for the purposes of the scheme, on such three days in any week during the months of December, January, and February in each year and on such two days in any week during the months of March to November (inclusive) in each year as the Minister or a Zoning Officer shall from time to time appoint in respect of the scheme, but otherwise meat may be delivered in the district to the premises of wholesale purchasers only.

(9) The names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver meat are as follows:—

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to William John Belemi, of Ohinewai.

Classification of Roads in Bay of Islands County

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke the Warrants described in the First Schedule hereto in so far as they relate to the classification of roads in the Bay of Islands County, and doth hereby declare that the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto and situated in the Bay of Islands County shall belong to the class of roads shown in the said Second Schedule.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades

Pursuant to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.

The prices of Preferred Commercial Grade and Commercial Grade are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. loose bushel.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st July to 31st July, 1943:—

Rangitaiki Land Drainage.—Notice of Intention to make and levy General Rates

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 9th July, 1943.

Notice is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and its amendments, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance-costs for the period 1st April, 1943, to 31st March, 1944, as described in the Schedule hereto.

The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on the 30th day of August, 1943, together with the special rates already made and levied.

The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 45, Government Buildings, Custom Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Land Drainage Engineer, at Thornton, near Whakatane, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
