Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Block VI, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, Auckland Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on the twenty-seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 5 acres 0 roods 9 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 72B, Parish of Matata.
Situated in Block VI, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.
(N.L. plan 9048.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2870, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2913, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of June, 1943.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for housing purposes.
