Land and Leasehold Estates or Interests in Land taken and Portions of Public Reserves set apart for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the estate or interest held from His Majesty the King by William Ralph Thompson, of Ngaere, Farmer, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease, registered number 13954 (Taranaki Registry), as to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the estate or interest held from His Majesty the King by Archibald Hyslop, of Greenfield, Farmer, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 290, folio 167 (Otago Registry), as to the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, are hereby taken, and that the portions of public reserve described in the Fourth Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for public works; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
