THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Thomas Oliver Chittenden,
Harry Dalley-Smith,
Claude Eustace Hart, and
William Joseph Smith

to be the Riwaka Memorial Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday,
the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-three, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the
Riwaka Library, Riwaka, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Henry William Anderson,
William John Chisholm,
William Chisholm, and
Donald Clark McKenzie

to be the Fortrose Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the
twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three,
at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Mr. William
Chisholm, Fortrose, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the
North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of
and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said
Act; and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the Palm Beach
Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public
domain.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that area on Waiheke Island in Blocks I and II, Waiheke Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods and
30·54 perches, more or less, being Lots 17, 179, 255, 313, 362, 374,
398, 425, and 446 on D.P. 16816, and being portion of Allotment 5,
Waiheke Parish, and portion of Whakarite and Mawhitipana Blocks.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 1/1108, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Also all that area on Waiheke Island, situated in Blocks I,
and II, Waiheke Survey District, containing by admeasurement
9 acres and 2·1 perches, more or less, being Lots 293, 294, 295, 296,
444, and 445 on D.P. 13816, and being portion of Allotment 5,
Waiheke Parish, and portion of Whakarite and Mawhitipana Blocks.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 1/1108A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Changing the Purpose of the Reservation over the Ngataki Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of May,

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in
Council declaring that the Ngataki Domain, described
in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for an
addition to a Native-school site was published in the Gazette
of the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-two:

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid
before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the
provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:

And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of
Representatives, by resolutions dated the twenty-second day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two,
approved the proposed change of purpose as aforesaid:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one of
section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date
hereof the Ngataki Domain, described in the Schedule hereto,
shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and
shall be a reserve for an addition to a Native-school site
(Ngataki).

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 43, Block V, Hohoura East Survey District: Area,
2 acres 6 roods 4 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a site for Govern-
ment buildings over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and
doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
