Notifying Land in Wellington Land District subject to the
Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 24th March, 1943.
PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of
section 48 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925,
notice is hereby given that the land described in the
Schedule hereto was acquired by the Crown on the 1st day
of February, 1943, and became subject to the provisions
of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as from that date.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 502 acres
0 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Sections 14 and 18,
Block II, Makotuku Survey District, and being the whole
of the land comprised and described in certificates of title,
Vol. 245, folio 278, and Vol. 275, folio 129, Wellington
Registry. As the same is more particularly delineated on a
plan marked L. and S. 21/149/2266A, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

powers conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial
Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, the registration of the North
Island Bacon Workers' Federation Industrial Association of Workers,
registered No. 1470, situated at Wellington, will, unless cause to the
contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from
the date of this notice.
