The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report.

I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purpose of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.

Dated at Wellington, this 31st day of March, 1943.

New Zealand Emergency Standard Specification amended.

NOTICE is given of the issue of Amendment No. 1 (dated March, 1943) to the New Zealand Emergency Standard Specification entitled “Simplified Practice for the Manufacture of Men’s, Youths’, and Boys’ Outer Clothing”, which is cited in the Males’ Outer Clothing Manufacture Control Notice 1942.*

Copies of the specification as amended may be obtained from the Secretary, New Zealand Standards Institute, Lambton Quay, Wellington C. 1, price 6d. per copy, post free. Each person who has already purchased a copy of the specification is entitled to a copy of the amendment free of charge.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

AN application has been received from D. E. Ross, Westshore, Napier, for a variation in the conditions of his existing license to enable him to use trawl-nets on the “Glory,” NR. 64, in addition to long lines, hand-lines, set-nets, drag-nets, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Napier.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, should furnish them in writing not later than the 15th April, 1943.
